KG &Co Case Study 1 – This project was completed for a large Workers Compensation scheme (state based). 400 employees internally (additional 500 at claim agents)
Situation: Inconsistencies in performance and outcomes at both agents resulting in significant variance in Scheme Outcomes, Customer Experience, Employee retention, Master servant relationship (mend underway)
Solution: Complete a three-week diagnostic to understand current state – what’s working well and opportunities to improve. Influenced CEO and COO to pivot solution and focus in-house on the Scheme first before tackling claim agent. Developed and delivered a five -part solution over six months addressing key gaps in:
- Role Clarity and Balanced score cards
- Master Schedule of next 12-18 months big projects
- High performance operating rhythm and disciplines
- Claim agent communication matrix.
- Continuous Improvement capability build.
Benefits Realised
- Role clarity rated the highest improvement in 12 months.
- 32 out 43 projects – declassified as minor works/ BAU work. Resulting in Project Team workload being streamlined
- Performance delivery accountability and coaching / 121 disciplines established.
- One of the claim partners engaged KG&Co to run a 6-part Leadership development series
- Four additional pieces of work offered and completed by KG & Co consulting as trusted advisor – Annual conference, Strategic planning offsite, Executive Coaching for Senior Exec and Balanced Scorecard build for People & Comms division.
KG &Co Case Study 2 – This project was completed for large Water Corporation in Victoria
Situation : Significant Billing & Collection system transformation project at Business Case stage requiring Change Management Strategy. Overall project duration – 3 years.
Solution: Partnered with Water Corporation internal PMO, Oracle vendor specialists and Software Integration specialists involved. Over two months facilitated workshops, impact analysis, change milestone planning and created a Change Management strategy including:
- Training methodology and training plan
- Change Management roadmap.
- Change sponsorship and key communication milestones.
- Change resources required through implementation phase.
Benefits Realised: Comprehensive strategy and implementation plan to inform the three year design and implement journey ahead. Strategy approved and endorsed by Transformation Committee at the Water Corporation.
KG &Co Case Study 3 – This project was delivered at a large Federal Government agency
Situation : 14 regions nationally, all being run inconsistently with no consistency. National delivery schedule and obligations to customers and community not being met.
Solution: Restructured over 6 months- 14 Regions to 5 states, established clarity around ways of working with State GMs and delivered:
- Established clarity, capability, and motivation ways of working.
- Established consistent meeting rituals, agendas, collaboration platform (One Note)
- Hosted 3 leadership conferences (over 200 leaders attending each) to build capability around operating rhythm

- Drove scheme delivery back on track in Victoria, South Australia and Queensland

KG &Co Case Study 4 – This project was delivered at a Large Healthcare provider
Situation : Significant backlog of unpaid invoices and growing volume of outstanding Debt 90days+, 180 days + balance
Solution: Over 6 months deployed a full continuous improvement program addressing gaps in:
- Process – lack of defined standard operating procedures.
- Reporting – no clear focus on productivity and outputs of finance team
- Resourcing – debt collection team was significantly under resourced
- KPI & role clarity
- System automations not utilized to reduce manual processing & debt follow up
